Messy Church is an important part of what goes on at our church. Around once a month, we meet on a Sunday afternoon for a time of creativity, worship and food.
Messy Church is for all the family – it’s for everyone, whatever your age, and it’s free. However, children must be accompanied by an adult – Messy Church is not a children’s club.
Our Messy Church starts from 2.00 pm and begins with a creative time: around 40 minutes of craft activities all connected with that month’s theme and Bible story. That is followed by our celebration time: around 20 minutes of singing, a Bible story and a prayer. We finish with some refreshments – a chance to sit down and chat over a cup of tea, coffee or some juice.
Our Messy Church is normally on the last Sunday every month from 2.00pm – 3.15pm except for July. However, the date can change sometimes, so look at our Facebook page or contact us to check when it’s on.
